Why we built AltGAN.

Working engineers do not need another tutorial. They need to see how a real system was actually built.

01

Production first

Every walkthrough starts from a system that actually ships. The lesson lives in the real decisions behind it, not in a sanitised sample app.

02

Engineers teaching engineers

No instructors by trade. The person walking you through the codebase is the person who shipped it and still writes this code for a living.

03

Your work stays yours

Tasks live in your own repository. Reviews happen on your pull requests. What you ship belongs to you, not to us.

The gap between a course and a project walkthrough

Every engineer remembers the moment a course stopped helping. The syntax was clear, the patterns were named, the examples ran. Then you opened a real repository and none of it explained why this abstraction was chosen, why this trade-off was made, or how any of it was meant to hold up under production load.

That gap is what AltGAN covers. Each project is a complete system somebody actually shipped, and the walkthrough comes from the engineer who shipped it, going decision by decision: what they tried, what they cut, and what they wish they had known.

We are a small group of working engineers writing the playbooks we wish we had had earlier. The platform is in production and the library keeps growing. You ship your extension, and we review what you wrote.
